WILDLIFE RESCUE STORIES

Give Wildlife A Break

As Humans spread across the beautiful pristine desert spaces, wildlife is condemned to the same fate as this Jackrabbit. Wild animals must travel, often crossing roads, just to reach the only source of food and shelter left to them ... artificial environments that we have created. We regard and guard our homes with little concern for these poor creatures. They become a Nuisance, in need of removal. Remember, especially in a state such as ours, that we must learn to live in harmony with the wild animals.

NEVER try to keep a wild animal as a pet. It is against the laws of nature and man. You may receive heavy fines and the animal may lose its life.

Roads are deadly to wild animals. They cut through what used to be open desert and cut off the animals from their food supply. Parents search for food to feed their young or a pregnant mother searches for food to nourish her unborn. When she dies, the young within her die and the young in the nest die without her.
