Arizona
wildlife is making its presence known in many new places and returning
to old ones. Actually, that is not surprising. We have pushed
into the wild places and pushed out the wildlife. Folks that have
lived for years in one place, and have never seen wild animals
on the property, are calling to say that they have critters under
decks and sheds and ambling through the yard at night.
Some folks
feed the wild animals directly while others are attracting one
kind of critter (birds, bunnies, mice) which in turn attracts
larger animals (hawks, coyotes, bobcat).

As
Easter approaches and the pet and feed stores stock baby animals,
it is so hard to resist taking them home.
PLEASE remember ... ANIMALS SHOULD NOT BE IMPULSE PURCHASES OR
PRESENTS
Never "surprise" a child with animal unless you ask the parents
and know that they are ready, willing and able to care for the
pet properly- for the rest of its life. These little ones depend
on humans for everything for their entire lives (not just until
the novelty wears off.)
